About FABRIC BOX

My name is Pauline Miller. I’m a family-loving person living in Blackburn, Lancashire, and Fabricbox was born in 2020 during COVID when shops were closed and the majority of people had a lot of time on their hands! I too was in that position as my business at the time had to close, so I channelled my energy into being creative with my sewing machine but found buying fabric a problem due to the shops being closed.

This led to me finding a local wholesale fabric warehouse that was still able to trade where I could buy my fabric, but indeed I had to buy full rolls which was far too much fabric for my small projects, so I thought I would have a go at selling the surplus fabric on various online selling platforms.

It was instantly successful & I ventured into buying different kinds of fabric and a variety of cotton poplin prints and animal print faux furs, so there “fabric box” was formed and is now a massive part of my life! I have always loved sewing and crafting, and enjoy being creative, and I absolutely love everything about fabric and sewing and my new little business from receiving the order to picking & packing it & going to the post office to send it on its way to you!

I welcome enquires and am always happy to help if I can, from a question about a product or posting out an order quickly! I love bringing new lines into my existing catalogue and am always on the lookout for new fabrics, buttons, threads and haberdashery items. I am also very passionate about quick responses to enquiries and providing top-class customer service. I strongly believe a good customer service experience teamed up with good communication, reliability and honesty gives the confidence needed to return to my store!
